New website design for Adelaide golf club

As General Manager Steven Freeling, Westward Ho Golf Club searched for local website designers in Adelaide who could help him to modernise the feel and look of the existing website. He came across the work Website Adelaide has done for local businesses and organisations which he thought was very appealing when he searched for the best website design in Adelaide.

With a large portfolio of modern websites (Website Adelaide), Steven contacted Website Adelaide to see how they could re-design Westward Ho Golf Club website to appeal to both existing and new members.

The Westward Ho Golf Club is located at Military Road,West Beach SA 5024, and open to the public and members daily. With such a prime location, it was important that the website design caters for golfers west of Adelaide Airport, but also for golfers all around Adelaide CBD and beyond.

Easy to update website content for golf club

During the meeting with Jarka from Website Adelaide, Steven’s website brief was straight forward. The Westward Ho Golf Club is a fairly large website, and it has become increasingly  difficult to easily update the website which means information and communication takes too long time to update. Some of the copy also needed to be revised and updated to reflect the current offerings on the golf club’s website.

On top of that, the website design was not modern, and needed to appeal to “beyond just being a round of golf” as it also offers amazing catering and function facilities. The website design needed to display all the opportunities the golf club offers in a much better way.

The result is a new fabulous looking golf website for Westward Ho Golf Course. It has been developed in WordPress; it is now mobile friendly, and it is very easy to update the website.
