EXPERIENCE ACROSS THE SECTOR

Examples from our accommodation and tourism experience

Our work spans luxury holiday accommodation, heritage attractions, cafés, function venues and regional tourism businesses. That experience has shown us how differently websites need to balance the experience being offered with the practical information visitors need before booking or making an enquiry.

The following projects are a selection of our accommodation, tourism and hospitality work.

01 · Luxury holiday accommodation

Naiko at the Bluff

Location: Victor Harbor, South Australia

Naiko at the Bluff is an architecturally designed villa positioned at the premium end of the accommodation market.

The website needed to communicate the visual quality and experience of the property while also answering practical questions for families and groups considering a stay.

We developed content around the two-wing layout, accommodation for up to 10 guests, pool, barbecue facilities and amenities, together with optional experiences such as private yoga and cooking classes.

The project reinforced how important it is for premium accommodation to combine aspiration with enough detail for guests to confidently picture the stay.

02 · Heritage visitor attraction

Adelaide Gaol

Location: Thebarton, Adelaide, South Australia

Adelaide Gaol offers several different visitor experiences, including history tours, ghost tours and paranormal investigations.

The website needed to make those experiences easy to understand and compare while retaining the historical credibility and atmosphere that make the attraction distinctive.

As a long-standing client, Website Adelaide has progressively developed clearer tour pathways, expanded content, strengthened on-page SEO and continued to update the website as the visitor offering has evolved.

This experience has shown us how important clear pathways become when one tourism attraction appeals to several different visitor interests.

03 · Hospitality, functions and events

The Watershed Function Centre & Café

Location: Mawson Lakes, Adelaide, South Australia

The Watershed needed one website to serve café customers, wedding and corporate event clients, meeting-room users, market visitors and tour groups.

We created clearer pathways around dining, functions, meeting-room hire, markets and tours rather than asking every visitor to navigate the same information.

The website also connects with the venue’s existing table-booking and gift-card platform.

This project demonstrated how one hospitality business can serve several distinct customer journeys without the website feeling fragmented.

INSPIRATION & INFORMATION

The experience and practical details work together

Across our tourism and accommodation work, one recurring pattern is that visual appeal creates interest, but practical information often helps complete the decision.

For premium accommodation, photography and design may establish the feeling of the stay, while details about guest capacity, property layout and inclusions remove uncertainty.

Visitor attractions can face a different challenge. The experience itself may need explanation before someone understands which tour, activity or ticket suits them.

Hospitality and event venues can require several pathways again, particularly where dining, functions and bookings operate differently.

Our experience has reinforced that the right balance between inspiration and practical information changes with the type of tourism business.

THE DESTINATION MATTERS

Location can become part of the experience

Ethel’s Cottage website

Regional tourism projects have also shown us how closely the business and destination can be connected.

For example, Ethel’s Cottage in Leasingham, the character of the 1860s stone cottage sits alongside its Clare Valley setting and proximity to the Riesling Trail and local wineries.

Naiko at the Bluff is similarly connected to Victor Harbor and the wider Fleurieu Peninsula experience.

For these businesses, location is more than an address. It forms part of what visitors are considering when deciding where to stay and how the experience fits into a broader trip.

BEYOND THE FEATURED PROJECTS

Wider accommodation and tourism experience

The featured projects are only part of our work in this sector.

Website Adelaide has also worked with Cowrie Retreat, an architect-designed absolute beachfront property at Lady Bay near Normanville. The website needed to position the property at the premium end of the market while clearly explaining the home layout, guest wing, capacity and optional dining arrangements.

Our wider experience also includes regional stays, caravan accommodation, cafés, wineries, tourism organisations and other visitor-focused businesses across South Australia.

Together, these projects give us experience across very different booking models, visitor expectations and regional settings.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE. WIDER EXPERIENCE.
