Dental & orthodontic website experience

Experience across different dental practice models

Website Adelaide works with dentists, orthodontists and denture clinics across Adelaide and South Australia.

EXPERIENCE ACROSS THE SECTOR

Examples from our dental and orthodontic website experience

We have worked across general dentistry, dentures, implants, orthodontics, emergency care and multi-location practices. Across those projects, the website approach has changed according to the treatment mix, patient journey and level of information people need before making an appointment.

The following projects are a selection of that experience.

01 · Denture clinic and dental prosthetic services

Noyce Denture Clinic

Location: Christies Beach, Adelaide, South Australia

Noyce Denture Clinic came to us with an older website containing limited service information, weak search visibility and little detail about the practitioner behind the care.

We rebuilt the content around the full denture journey, including dedicated information for full, partial, chrome and flexible dentures, repairs, relines, cleaning, mouthguards and mobile services.

Practitioner qualifications, AHPRA registration and continuity of care were also made clearer.

This project reinforced how important practitioner credibility and practical treatment information can be when patients are considering a specialist dental service.

02 · General, cosmetic, implant and emergency dentistry

Melrose Park Dental & Implant Centre

Location: Melrose Park, Adelaide, South Australia

Melrose Park Dental & Implant Centre provides a broad mix of general, cosmetic, implant and emergency services.

The website provide clear pathways between those treatment areas without making the website feel clinical or difficult to navigate.

It also combine concise treatment explanations with team information, health fund details, accessibility and straightforward appointment pathways.

Patients may arrive with very different levels of urgency, from routine care through to emergency treatment or longer-consideration implant enquiries. The website design shows how one practice website can support those different decision journeys without becoming fragmented.

03 · Orthodontics for children, teenagers and adults

Townsend Orthodontics

Location: Burnside and the Barossa Valley, South Australia

Townsend Orthodontics is a long-standing Website Adelaide client with practices in Burnside and the Barossa Valley.

The most recent website update focused on bringing the design in line with the established Townsend Orthodontics brand and making stronger use of the practice’s new photography. The result is a polished, visual website that reflects the quality of the brand while keeping treatment pathways clear across children’s orthodontics, adult treatment, traditional braces and clear aligners.

For this update, Website Adelaide was responsible for the website design and development, while the practice supplied the copy, photos and brand guidelines.

The project shows how an established orthodontics website can evolve visually without losing the brand recognition, structure and treatment information already built up over time.

OUR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Different treatments require different levels of explanation

Across our dental work, one the aspects we have noticed is that not every treatment requires the same amount of information.

Routine care may be relatively straightforward for an existing patient to understand.

Emergency dentistry often needs a direct route to contact and availability.

Implants, dentures and orthodontics usually involve more consideration. Patients may want to understand consultation stages, the services in depth, treatment options, practitioner experience, technology, likely commitment and fees before taking the next step.

That experience has shaped how we organise treatment content rather than giving every dental service equal prominence.

OUR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Practitioner credibility is part of the decision

Dental care is highly personal, and patients often want to know who will provide the treatment before they book.

Across our projects, qualifications, AHPRA registration, relevant professional experience and clinical interests have all played an important role in establishing that confidence.

The distinction between general professional experience, areas of clinical interest and formally recognised specialist status also matters.

Rather than leaving practitioner information isolated on an About page, we have found it more useful when relevant experience is connected with the treatments being discussed.

OUR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

AHPRA requirements shape dental website content

Dental websites operate within regulated health advertising requirements, which affects how treatment information can be presented.

Where practitioners are AHPRA registered, relevant advertising requirements can influence claims about treatments, outcomes, practitioner experience, testimonials and before-and-after imagery.

That means the wording needs to build confidence without creating unreasonable expectations or making claims that cannot be supported.

In our work, clinical information is developed from material supplied by the practice, with the registered professionals responsible for reviewing treatment descriptions and clinical claims before publication.

OUR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Wider dental, denture and orthodontic experience

Our experience extends beyond the featured projects and includes general dentistry, dentures, orthodontics, implants, emergency dental care and multi-location practices.

That broader work has shown us how differently patients research routine treatment, urgent care and higher-consideration services.

It has also given us experience across practices where geography, practitioner choice and treatment complexity influence the patient journey in different ways.

OUR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Dental website experience across South Australia

Our dental and orthodontic work includes practices across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.

The realistic patient catchment varies with the service. General dentistry may draw mainly from nearby suburbs, while orthodontics, implants or specialist services can attract patients from a wider area.
